I put a lot of love and detail into every portrait to make sure it looks its absolute best. That includes plenty of touch-ups—so don’t stress about scratches, scars, fungus, or little blemishes. If something bothers you, just let me know and I’ll happily remove it for you at no extra charge!
That said, editing can only do so much. A clean horse always photographs better, and I can’t “de-hair” a fluffy winter coat—so clipping for that sleek shine is always a good idea. The same goes for tack: clean, polished bridles look amazing, while dirt or dust will stand out in photos.
Just keep in mind, the more editing an image needs, the longer it will take to get your gallery back to you. My biggest goal is that you love every single image you receive, and with a little prep on your end, I can promise results you’ll treasure forever.
All sessions come with a set amount of poses - making them all unique to the client and our time together. If you have a pose you would like to try, please just let me know! If you’ve got more than one horse, I can absolutely create a few group shots for you for an additional fee. Fun fact—most of the group portraits you’ve seen in my work aren’t taken all at once! I actually photograph each horse separately and then edit them together. So no need to stress if your horses don’t get along or if there isn’t space to line everyone up—I’ll take care of creating a natural, seamless composition afterwards.
You will receive your proofs in your proof gallery first to choose your images. Super simple and will come with a guide on how to choose your images. Finals are delivered in the same gallery - you will be emailed a link.
We reschedule with ease and pray that it won't happen on our rescheduled date.
Yes! If you know someone with horse experience and knows how to be cautious around them. I don't always have someone to bring with me.
